If you’re working with an external team to take on your screening and onboarding journey then it’s important you find the right service where the team is easily contactable, you’re not waiting for long turnaround times and the job is being done compliantly.


A leading IT recruitment agency tried a number of screening services but noticed a real difference and felt most at home with PayStream. In their own words PayStream felt like an extension of their own team. We wanted to learn more about what we’re doing right and asked them a couple of questions:

  1. Why did you originally decide to sign up to PayStream’s Candidate Screening service? 

    We had tried other services, but we are unable to find what we were looking for until we met PayStream.

  2. How has your experience been so far using PayStream’s Candidate Screening service?

    We've had a good experience so far. We have a great relationship with the team at PayStream, it feels like they are extended members of our team, which is very rare to find. They go over and beyond to ensure that everything is running smoothly on the onboarding side, which means that we have more time to take care of other important things.

  3. Is it easy to get in contact with the Candidate Screening support team when you have a query and are the responses timely?

    The team always respond very quickly to us, they've made me feel comfortable enough to give them a phone call.

  4. Do the support team assist with more complex screening requirements – e.g. do they assist candidates to help in their understanding the process / any checks that they are struggling with?

    They go over and beyond for us and our associates. They try to ensure that people understand the process.

  5. Do the Candidate Screening team go above and beyond to help you collect Information from candidates?

    They are incredibly flexible with how they deal with us. They always allow us to send things on behalf of the candidates, which they will upload on to the system. They always explain to us what things will mean for us.

  6. Is there anything else you’d like to share about your experience using this service?

    They, really are the best, I haven't received such good customer service from any other similar companies. I think that's what puts you guys ahead and it's your ability to have charismatic people in working for you, who are fast and efficient. They really feel like a part of our team and I've managed to build up such a rapport with them. It's the people that make the service.
