With PEO, we are the employer, so as well as taking on the employment risks, contractors get access to statutory employment entitlements and optional PayStream benefits.
Contractors are paid the advertised gross pay rate and receive a standard gross to net payslip which reduces any potential confusion. The employment costs are invoiced back to the agency or clients along with any processing fee. Standard rate VAT is included on all invoices issued to UK agencies.
